Milton Keynes Caravan Show January 2010

The MK Caravan Show opened on Thursday 7th January and runs through to Sunday 10th. I visited on Friday, it was pretty quiet but given the recent weather conditions that is not surprising. There was only one motorhome but caravans from Adria, Bailey, Elddis, Lunar and Roma are presented plus secondhand vans. MK Kia also had a stand but unfortunately it is a month too early for the new Sorento. There are a few small stands which include several local caravan parks and Powertouch. Click on the thumbnails below for a larger picture. It was interesting to get a first look at the much talked about Bailey Pegasus, especially the construction method. I was also intrigued to see the interior plastic walls but have to say it seems to work well.

New Roma launched

This is a touring caravan like no other, especially the patio doors! Some of the vans on show don't have kitchens installed but it was explained that they are virtually custom built so the individual customer can decide. I can accept that that are very different from what we generally see in a touring caravan and it won't be to everyone's taste. However access is easy for anyone in a wheel chair. Looking at the main bedroom to the right of the picture above I could just imagine laying in bed looking out on a beach in the Med!
